Gaynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool

Annemarie Bibby

Deputy Manager

Annemarie has been working at Gaynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool since the end of April 2009. She has the Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. Annemarie became Room Manager of the Butterfly Room (2-3yrs) in November 2009 and in November 2010 became Acting Deputy Manager to cover maternity leave, working as both Room Manager and Acting Deputy Manager in the nursery. Annemarie became the Deputy Manager of the nursery in December 2011. She is currently completing her Level 5 Diploma In Management training.
 
 

Katie Ball

Preschool Room Manager and Third In Charge

Katie is a qualified NVQ 3. Katie also has a Level 2 qualification in Institute Leadership and Management. In October 2010 Katie was promoted to Room Manager. Katie is also our Quality representative for the nursery. Katie also has a  Level 3 Diploma in Management after completing her training in 2012. Katie became the third in charge after a successful interview process and supports the nursery managers with running the nursery. She is expecting her first child and is due to go on maternity leave in early July 2013.
 
 

Laura Moore

Room Manager, Caterpillars (15mths-2yrs) - Currently on Maternity Leave

Laura has been working at Gaynes Park Nursery since March 2009.  Laura is qualified to NVQ 3 and has a foundation degree in early years. Laura is the room manager of the Caterpillar room and used to be the third in charge of the nursery. Laura is on Maternity leave after giving birth to a baby girl and is due to return to Gaynes Park later on in July 2013.
 
 

 
 

Karen Mills

Nursery Nurse - Behaviour Management Representative.

Karen has worked at Gaynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool since September 2000 and has gained a considerable amount of experience of children’s behaviour. Karen is based in our preschool room. She supports the nursery team with dealing with children’s behaviour and offers support and guidance to staff. In the nursery we encourage positive behaviour which is rewarded with stickers, certificates and reward charts.
 
 

Marion Conway

Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo)

Marion has worked at the nursery since early 2008. Marion works with all of the age groups and supports children with any additional needs that they may have. Marion also supports the staff with the learning and developmental needs of the children by completing Individual Education Plan (IEP's) for those that require additional support. Marion attends frequent training to keep her knowledge up to date and brings this knowledge back to the nursery. She works closely with the Local Authorities Area SEN so that we can deliver a high quality of care and education to all of our children and meeting their individual needs.

 
 

Gemma Reeder

Nursery Nurse - Keeping Everyone Safe Coordinator

Gemma has worked at Gaynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool since March 2007 and has room based in the Butterfly Room since July 2008. In August 2010 Gemma became our new Health and Safety coordinator. This role means that Gemma is responsible for recording all accidents/incidents and medicine forms. It is Gemma’s role to ensure that the staff keep the environment safe and secure for the children and ensure that they complete the daily checklists. Gemmas role is still the same however is now known as Keeping Everyone Safe coordinator. Gemma uses Candyfloss our Keeping Everyone Safe Mascot to teach the children about how to look after themselves for example our Preschool children have recently used Candyfloss to learn about stranger danger.
 
 
 

Letitia Redmond

Nursery Nurse - Inclusion coordinator

Letitia has been working at the nursery since June 2012. Since starting at the nursery Letitia has demonstrated a keen interest in celebrating various culteral festivals and including the children in these. She became the nurseries inclusion coordinator in October 2012 and is responsible for ensuring that the nursery as a whole are being inclusive to childrens individual needs and celebrating diversity and culture.
